About Us
ACME canine’s staff enjoys working with all breeds and all ages of dogs. They are
committed to making dogs decent members of society and a joy to own. ACME canine’s

Bureau’s Business Integrity Award, featured on WNBC4 midday pet
segment, featured on Ohio News Network's Pet Segment, and is a recommended business on Angie’s

You'll meet Stephenie Phillips when you come to Acme Canine for daycare, boarding or any of our fun events. Stephenie works in the office and helps out in the kennel. She has a bachelor in Psychology from Ohio Wesleyan University. Taking the dogs that are staying at the faculty on walks is a great break from daily office rituals - rain or shine!
She really enjoys the fun night actives we have ever other Wednesday night. Stephenie really values her time at Acme Canine whether it's creating craft projects with dogs, being a distraction to dogs in training, or just playing with the dogs. Stephenie is married and has two cats (Hermes and Mr. Kitty), and a dwarf rabbit name Lola. She currently does not own a dog. Stephenie feels like she would not be a responsible dog owner with her busy schedule and considers all the dogs that come to Acme Canine her own. - Meet Lisa Lennon
-
As a Certified Professional Dog Trainer since 2008, Lisa Lennon has been assisting Acme Canine's clients improve their
canine bond and develop the skills necessary to have a well mannered dog. "After having my dog, Claudia, obedience
trained and experiencing how dramatically it changed my life I immediately knew that I needed to do this for other
people. A well-trained dog is a joy to be with and really is a family's best friend," says Lisa.
Lisa Lennon is a graduate of the Master Trainer course at National K9 School for Dog Trainers. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University where she majored in Animal Sciences. Spike is a valuable member of the Acme Canine staff. As a demonstration dog, Spike executes his talents promoting dog etiquette and canine relationships.
“Since I'm basically a "cat person", I was apprehensive about meeting Laura at her Acme Canine facility the first time. I assumed it would smell like dogs and that dogs would be barking. I was amazed at how clean, bright and cheery her facility is. And not a sound out of the dogs in residence. What a great experience -- even for a non-dog person!”
