Dog owners with busy lifestyles or who need their dog trained quickly
may 
want to consider our
on-site programs. The main benefit of sending your dog off to be trained
is that more commands can be taught and learned in a shorter time frame.
This is possible through multiple training sessions with our certified
trainers occurring throughout the day.
The training process includes travel accommodations to different venues where your
dog will receive socialization and distraction training in real life situations.
ACME canine considers your dog's comfort and happiness our number one concern.
All overnight camps include gentle, individualized loving attention, 2-3 walks per
day, playtime either alone or with other dogs and scratches behind the ear with
loving hugs before bedtime. In addition ACME canine will provide email updates
and documentation of the ENTIRE TRAINING PROCESS as a permanent record of your
dogs' progress and training on request. We'll even pick up and deliver your dog!
Unlike most training programs ACME canine teaches your pet in a home environment, using
training methods appropriate for your dog's personality and temperament. We customize
the training methods for your dog to meet your unique needs and goals. We provide
follow up sessions at your home to ensure you have the training knowledge and techniques
to maintain your well mannered dog. As our client, you also have the opportunity to
call us for help if you ever have problems with your dog ---at no further cost!
ON-LEASH OVERNIGHT CAMP
While you're on a business trip, vacation or enjoying a few quiet days at home, 
ACME canine will build a foundation
through which you are able to communicate with your dog. With this foundation you will gain
more respect, focus, and bond from you canine companion. In this program your dog will reside
in our home for 7 days of individualized behavior training and coaching followed by a
reunion orientation session and two follow up sessions at your home. During your
dog's stay it will be taught basic manners as well as the following on-leash commands:
HEEL, SIT, DOWN, WAIT, PLACE, LEAVE IT, DROP, SAY HI AND BE INTRODUCED TO RECALL. The
program is individualized to your needs, whatever the issue...behavioral, confidence
building or aggression. While your dog is with us he/she receives gentle, individual,
loving attention, 2-3 walks a day, playtime either alone or with other dogs, and road trips.
Cost: $895 / $1,500 aggressive dog (includes 7-10 days of individualized behavior training and coaching at our home
facility, a reunion orientation session and one follow-up session at your home. Our ACME canine manual individualized
for your dog and brimming with dog training tidbits, a leather leash and proper training collar are also included
in the cost.
BEHAVIOR 101: Behavior Modification Overnight Camp
Behavioral problems often cause an owner to feel they must give up their pet. Even nice dogs can develop problem behaviors, and even experienced dog owners can find themselves with a problem dog. By understanding what your dog is doing and why he is doing it, you can change any behavior to suit your life. That is what behavior modification, and dog behaviorism is all about. Helping you understand what makes your dog tick so you can change the negative behaviors into positive behaviors without punishment or force.
Behavior modification is similar to training because the goal is to teach your dog how to live with humans. But it is very different than training because it uses a dogs natural instincts, desires, abilities, and communication styles. In behavior modification you aren't trying to teach your dog to respond to a command, you are trying to influence their behavior choices for any given situation.
Almost all dogs can be helped with proper training. The hardest part is actually training the humans. Through emails, handouts and follow up sessions at your home, we help you learn how to manage your pet so that problem behaviors don't have a chance to occur. We specialize in working with dog aggression, obsessive compulsive disorders, fear problems as well as a wide variety of other canine behavior issues.
This overnight camp creates a dog that can live in harmony with people, make good decisions when you aren't there to give commands, and generally be a happier more content companion because it understands the rules of the human world. Before entering this camp we as that you have your pet checked out by your vet. Be frank with your vet about the behavior problems, they can stem from pain or even hormone levels that are off.
Cost: $1550/ $2500 for aggressive dogs (14 days of individualized behavior training and coaching at our home facility, daily documentation for the training process, a One hour reunion session at pick up and one follow-up session in your home. A drag line and slip training collar are included at no additional cost.)
K9 to 5 DAY CAMP
A great alternative to doggie day care: your dog goes to work while you are at work!!!
Scheduled morning drop offs between 7:30 am - 9:00 am and evening pick ups between 4:30
pm - 6:30 pm. Your dog will spend it's daytime hours at our home facility receiving
socialization and distraction training in real life situations. During your dog's stay
it will be taught basic manners as well as the following on-leash commands: HEEL, SIT,
DOWN, WAIT, PLACE, LEAVE IT, DROP, SAY HI. While your dog is with us he/she
receives gentle, individual, loving attention, 2-3 walks a day, playtime either alone
or with other dogs, and road trips. Every evening at pick up a brief update on the day's
progress is given. At the end of the week, hands on instruction for maintaining your new
well-mannered dog. We even include a follow up session at your home to ensure your dog has
transferred its respect to you.
Cost: $585 includes 5 full days of individualized behavior training and coaching at our home facility and a 1 hour hands-on instruction session. Our ACME canine folder individualized for your dog and brimming with dog training tidbits and proper training collar are also included in the cost.
E-TOUCH™ OVERNIGHT CAMP 
Gentle, effective and efficient. What is fascinating about this training
method is that the application of the “stim” from the electronic
collar is not used as an aversive but rather as a motivational tool.
What your dog feels is similar to a mosquito flying around your head
at night—annoying but not painful. This program is individualized to your
needs, whatever the issue...behavioral, confidence building or aggression. Our
ACME canine manual individualized to your dog and brimming with dog training
tidbits, a Dogtra 200NP Gold Electronic Collar, and a long line are included
in the cost.
Cost: $1,550 / aggressive dogs $2500 (includes 10 days of individualized behavior training and coaching at
our home facility using the E-TOUCH™ method, a reunion orientation session and two follow-up sessions at your home)
OFF LEASH OVERNIGHT CAMP
During this 3-week stay we will build a foundation of respect, focus and trust from your canine
companion and continue to train your dog to achieve off-leash obedience. Your dog
will be taught basic manners as well as verbal commands and/or hand signals : HEEL, SIT,
DOWN, STAY, WAIT, PLACE, LEAVE IT, DROP, SAY HI, COME. The program is individualized to
your needs, whatever the issues...behavioral, confidence building or aggression. Our ACME
canine manual individualized to your dog and brimming with dog training tidbits, a leather
leash, proper training collar and long line are included in the cost.
Cost $2350 (includes 21 days of individualized behavior training and coaching at our home
facility, distraction road trips, playtime in the backyard, morning and evening walks,
documentation of the training process, a reunion orientation session and three follow-up
sessions at your home.)
