Check out  They sell socks.  Not for your dog, but custom made socks with your dog’s face or body on them.  Pretty cool, huh?  We thought so, so we tried it.

Andrew Epprecht (one of the owners) sent us a code to use for testing their product, but the socks retail for around $25.00.

Just as their website described, all we needed to do was upload a photo of our dog, Autumn, to:   Once the photo was received, their designers cropped, resized and custom designed the socks for us.  Ten days later, we had our very own custom made socks.

The socks we tested were cotton toe, heel, and cuff.  We chose the black background which arrived with a repetitive image of Autumn.  They looked pretty cool.

Phil was our sock tester.  He wears around a size 9 shoe.  Unfortunately the socks, which are one size fits all, felt more like compression socks on Phil’s feet than a comfortable pair of cotton socks.  The socks came off quickly.  They also lost their color during the application since they were stretched out so much.

Acme Canine gives 3 paws up for a great product idea but with a limited audience.
