Hi, Spike here and I’m excited. I don’t have to wait for someone to take me out or open the door to let me in anymore. Laura’s added a doggie door that allows us to go between the kennel room and the gravel area outside. It’s pretty cool but it’s taking some of us a little time to get the nerve to push the plexiglass bi-fold doors apart so we can go outside.
The staff at Acme are doing a great job helping us get comfortable. First they propped one side of the door open. I was small enough not to have to touch the other side of the door but Ziva, a cute Komodor, was rubbing against it as she went in and out. Some of the staff used treats to help us get over our concerns. I’m a sucker for any type of food so I hardly noticed when they closed both doors, I just pushed my way through to get the treat. Others were a bit more careful and Mara is still not sure about pushing on the door.
The people at Plexidor say most dogs will learn in 5 seconds to 5 days. I guess I was one of the more motivated dogs in the group. Also want you to know I am blogging on behalf of BlogPaws Pet Blogger Network and Plexidor. Dog biscuits aren’t cheap, you know. I received compensation for my time from Plexidor for sharing my views in this post, but the views expressed here are solely mine.
Well I have to go…I hear the dog food bag and that means dinner. More tomorrow.
