To better understand Acme Canine, you need to know how we started. In 2004 Acme Canine was created to bring professional, knowledgeable, and caring dog training to the places dogs misbehave the most…their home.
When owner, Laura Pakis, decided on the Acme name, she had not thought of the benefits of having a company name that started with the first letter of the alphabet. Rather it was based on two other reasons. One was the good memories of the nostalgic Acme Company and how it could fix anything. Most importantly, it was the more intellectual reason for Acme’s definition, meaning “the highest level or degree attainable; the highest stage of development.”
Acme Canine has been a member of the canine community for over 30 years. Acme Canine has taken on many roles to serve the canine community better. From its early beginnings of training in an apartment in Delaware, Ohio, to a staff of 4 trainers and 10 kennel assistants caring and working with all breeds and ages of dogs at a facility in Lewis Center, Ohio, and now sharing canine knowledge through Spike’s Blog…
Since its formation, Acme Canine is committed to making dogs polite members of society and a joy to own. Known throughout the United States and abroad to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and business practice and keep abreast of the latest methods, practices, and dog care techniques, Acme Canine is synonymous with quality care and dog training expertise in dog daycare and dog boarding. Keeping with its mission, Acme Canine utilizes various innovative and individualized techniques to teach dog owners a positive method of living and learning together with their pets and dog trainers and dog daycare and boarding facilities to achieve these high standards.
